Stop and Smell The Tulips…
I showed you a sneak peek before of my first design team project for Practical Scrappers, and today I’ll show you the whole layout since we’re onto another project over there. Our assignment was to use a diecut machine, so I used the Pazzles and used the Paper Lace CD to cut the butterfly background paper.
What I love about the photo in the layout is this was during Summer’s “Elmo phase” when she absolutely adored him and she’s having him “smell” the tulip…..but it’s actually in his mouth, so it just cracks me up cause he’s eating it instead of smelling it. Strikes me funny, I don’t know why. ha ha
This was the first time I’ve ever used Heidi Swapp ghost letters. I think I like them. I used lime green Stickles to just outline the edges on these.
I can’t resist tying a ribbon (American Crafts) and sticking in some pins (those are from Fancy Pants).
Of course, if you’ve been hanging around here any length of time you know by now that I can’t call it done until I’ve added some sort of bling, so I randomly put some jewels from Michaels and some Kaisercraft pearls onto some of the butterflies.
Do you like?
